Saturday Afternoon Sailing: (Conditional)
Dragon class boats sail on Saturday afternoons on the first and third Saturday of each month. DF95’s, sail on the first Saturday of the month and DF65’s, sail on the third Saturday of each month.Racing starts at approx 1:30pm and finishes around 4:00pm.On the first Saturday the Dragon Force Skippers come a little earlier to have the BBQ prior to their racing commencing.Effective 1st July 2020 the Dragon Force races will incur a $2.00 Donation fee, as per the Saturday morning Sailors. Skippers who sail on both Saturday Morning and Saturday afternoons, will only incur one $2.00 donational fee.Bring your boat and come and have some fun.
Saturday Morning Sailing: (Conditional)
Every Saturday morning we meet for racing. Generally the starting time is 9:30am and racing usually finishes around 1:00pm. This does depend on the weather conditions and the number of skippers attending.All Members and Visitors are Welcome. At the beginning of each month we generally have a BBQ after the races are completed around the 12:30 am timeslot. This is a great way to meet your fellow skippers and have a “snag” at the same time.If you would like to race the Saturday Morning Sailing has an attendance donation of $2:00 per skipper. This can be paid in advance up to 12 months. This donation includes the monthly trophy races, also covers the provisions of buoys , registering of boats, rescue boat, public liability Insurance, trailer hire, bulletins and two sailing days per week.
Tuesday Morning Sailing: (Conditional)
Every Tuesday morning the wrinklies gather at Lillydale lake around 8:30am for their sailing. This does depend on the weather conditions and the numbers attending.All members and Visitors are most welcome.Please be aware that after midday the rescue boat is not available to assist in any boat retreivals.Tuesday Morning Sailing is FREE.

You will be able to find us at Lillydale Lake:More specifically, at the boat ramp at the Lillydale Lake Reserve.(Approx 40 klm from the Melbourne CBD). Melways Map: 38Enter the Lillydale Lake Reserve, via Swansea Road and take the first turn on your left. We meet at the boat ramp at the Lake end of the carpark.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING SAILING INSTRUCTIONS:
These sailing instructions have been written under the guidelines issued by the Victorian Chief Health Officer as at 27/10/2020.A: Social distancing and hand hygiene is to be adhered to at all times.B: Fitted face masks to be worn at all times.C: No more than 10 members at any club event.D: Sailing will be of a social and practice nature at all times.E: If you are feeling unwell or have any medical conditions that you or your immediate family have please do not attend.1: A Sailing Master will be appointed for each session. This person will be responsible for any mark laying and also for the retrieval of these marks.2: Members will need to select an area either on the upper deck of the jetty north of the launching ramp or on the grassy area behind or to the side of the upper deck. Each member will be required to stay in their respective 2 square meter area whilst sailing. Each member will be responsible for their own hygiene requirements.3:When launching or retrieving your yacht only one member is allowed on the lower deck at any one time.4:The jetty by the rotunda is out of bounds.5: In order to be fair to all members a roster system will need to be implemented. Please register with the Sailing Master (firstname.lastname@example.org) your intention to sail and to which day you prefer. ie: Saturday, Tuesday or perhaps another day might be more suitable. Please note that we have 60 members and only 2 sailing days each week, any roster would mean only sailing once every 3 weeks.
